Retirement of League Administrator Steve Lewis
Announcement from the Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of the Northern New England Soccer League (NNESL) would like to announce to our members the retirement of League Administrator Steve Lewis as of January 1, 2020. Steve dedicated more than three decades of his time to the New Hampshire soccer community with the last three years serving as our League Administrator.
NNESL President John Boisvert offered the following statement. “Steve’s knowledge and expertise were critical to the founding, growth, and success of the NNESL. In stepping down as the Administrator of the NNESL, he leaves our organization with a very strong foundation from which the league will continue to thrive and opportunities for our members will continue to expand. Steve’s knowledge and experience will be missed but tempered by knowing his personal friendship and support for the NNESL and our members will always be there. On behalf of the Board and our members we wish Steve and his family all the best in his retirement.”
The NNESL Board, with Steve’s transitional support, has developed and implemented a new administrative structure that is up and running. The structure will ensure that our spring season registration, scheduling, and operation is seamless. Details on the transition to the new administration structure will be provided to our members in a forthcoming announcement and reviewed in detail at our Annual General Meeting on February 12, 2020 and at a special meeting for current and prospective new members on March 11, 2020.
The Board looks forward to the future and would like to thank all our members for their continued support and join in our expression of sincere gratitude and thanks to Steve Lewis.
